Regular Season Round 39: Bambitious Nara - Takamatsu FA 71-74

Important game to mention about took place in Nara. Eleventh ranked Takamatsu FA (9-24) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (13-22) 74-71 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bambitious Nara. Bambitious Nara was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 21-17 charge of Takamatsu FA, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Anthony Kent (208-83, college: Ball St.) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and Trinidad and Tobago power forward Julius Ashby (208-82, college: Colorado) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four Takamatsu FA and five Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Takamatsu FA moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Oita H.Devils. Loser Bambitious Nara keeps the ninth position with 22 games lost. Takamatsu FA will have a break next round.
