No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Polonia Leszno (20-0) won against on the road 6th ranked Nowa Sol (11-9) 79-67 on Saturday. They outrebounded Nowa Sol 41-18 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nowa Sol was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of center Grzegorz Paszek (203-93) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Stanferd Sanny (185-94) who added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Radoslaw Trubacz (196-94) responded with 26 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Adrian Krawczyk (186-95) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Nowa Sol's coach Arkadiusz Miloszewski gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Polonia Leszno have an impressive 20-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group D with 20-0 record. Loser Nowa Sol dropped to the fifth place with nine games lost. Polonia Leszno will face league's second-placed Gornik in Walbrzych in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Nowa Sol will play on the road against WKK Wroclaw and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
