No shocking result in a game in Lublin where third ranked AZS UMCS (15-5) outleveled 10th ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (6-13) 92-57 on Saturday. AZS UMCS dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Tur Bielsk Pdl.'s 24 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. AZS UMCS forced 27 Tur Bielsk Pdl. turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when AZS UMCS made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Rafal Krol (200-87) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Przemyslaw Tradecki (180-89) who added 4 points, 12 assists and 6 steals during the contest. Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) responded with 12 points and 4 assists and point guard Mateusz Bebeniec (182-97) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Four Tur Bielsk Pdl. players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AZS UMCS moved-up to second place in Group B. Newly promoted Tur Bielsk Pdl. keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. AZS UMCS will face Polonia W-wa (#12) in Warszawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play at home against Shmoolky W-wa and hope to win that game.
