Very important is a road loss of third ranked Miedzychod (13-7) against eighth ranked Olesnica (7-13) on Saturday night. Visiting Miedzychod was defeated by Olesnica in Olesnica 67-56. Swingman Grzegorz Kaczmarek (193-83) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Dawid Piasecki (189-95) contributed with 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Olesnica players scored in double figures. Center Lukasz Kwiatkowski (207-79) replied with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Marcin Chodkiewicz (200-82, agency: Promotex) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Miedzychod. Newly promoted Olesnica maintains eighth position in Group D with 7-13 record, which they share with AZS PP. Miedzychod at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. Olesnica's next round opponent will be Gimbasket WRC (#11) in Wroclaw. Miedzychod will play on the road against AZS PP (#9) in Poznan and hope to win that game.
