Second Stage Round 7: Koping - Lobas 70-66

Basketettan top team - Koping (13-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked Lobas (7-9) 70-66. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lobas won third quarter 15-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Koping dominated on the defensive end, holding Lobas to just 6 points in first quarter. Guard Robertino Duric (192-92) fired 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Kevin Grant (191-94) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Jesper Wennerholm (188-96) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Filip Lindstrom (193-96) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Koping have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Koping maintains first place in BEHS forts with 13-2 record. Lobas lost third consecutive game. Lobas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Koping's next round opponent will be Wetterbygden (#5) in Huskvarna. Lobas will play on the road against Brahe Basket in Huskvarna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
