Second Stage Round 3: BC Mess - Arantia 71-79

An interesting game for Arantia (17-4) which played road game in Mondercange against BC Mess (14-7). Arantia managed to get a 8-point victory 79-71. BC Mess was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 43-32 second half run of Arantia. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to BC Mess' 30. The best player for the winners was American guard Aaron Harrison (198-93, college: Lynn) who had a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Mike Jones (203-83, college: N.Texas) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Arantia's coach Mike Smith allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Elijah Bonsignore (198, college: S.New Hampshire, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Slovenian power forward Marko Vranjkovic (204-90) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four BC Mess players scored in double figures. Arantia's next round opponent will be Bascharage in Kaerjeng and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Mess will play at home against Grengewald and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
