Regular Season Round 25: GKS Tychy - Notec Inowr. 94-70

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked GKS Tychy (16-9) smashed at home 8th ranked Notec Inowr. (10-15) 94-70 on Saturday. GKS Tychy dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Notec Inowr.'s 30 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. GKS Tychy forced 25 Notec Inowr. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Power forward Tomasz Deja (200-83) fired 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Wojciech Barycz (208-84, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. GKS Tychy's coach Tomasz Jagielka felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dawid Adamczewski (190-91) produced 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Lukasz Ratajczak (201-86, agency: Promotex) added 19 points respectively for lost side. GKS Tychy maintains fourth place with 16-9 record. Newly promoted Notec Inowr. dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Rosa II Radom and SKK Siedlce. GKS Tychy will meet bottom-ranked GTK Gliwice (#16) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Notec Inowr. will play against Slask 2 Wroclaw (#14) and hope to secure a win.
