Second Stage Round 7: IK Eos - KFUM Central 78-57

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked IK Eos (2-6) outplayed 7th ranked KFUM Central (2-7) in Lund 78-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. IK Eos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Quite impressive performance for point guard Nils Gjorup (177-92) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Center David Hult (204-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. IK Eos' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jean-charles Coffi answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Kelly-hamilton Drougge added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Central. IK Eos moved-up to sixth place in Superettan. Newly promoted KFUM Central keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. IK Eos will face again KFUM Central (#7) in Stockholm in the next round. KFUM Central will play on the road against Hogsbo in Goteborg and hope to win that game.
