Regular Season Round 25: Znicz Basket - SKK Siedlce 78-86

An interesting game took place in Pruszkow where higher ranked Znicz Basket (14-10) was upset on its own court by twelfth ranked SKK Siedlce (10-15) 86-78. Marcin Kowalewski (200-86, agency: Promotex) nailed 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and guard Rafal Sobilo (188-89) accounted for 16 points and 5 assists. Four SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. SKK Siedlce's coach Teohar Mollov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Point guard Kamil Czosnowski (180-95) came up with 19 points and 5 steals and forward Filip Put (201-93) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Znicz Basket in the defeat. SKK Siedlce moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Notec Inowr. and Rosa II Radom. Znicz Basket at the other side dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. SKK Siedlce will play against higher ranked Nysa Klodzko (#8) in Kloszko in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Znicz Basket will play on the road against Spojnia in Stargard and hopes to get back on the winning track.
