An interesting game was also surprising road defeat of 4th ranked SEQ (#4) in a game in Melbourne versus Boomers (#8) 81-67. The game was mostly controlled by Boomers. SEQ managed to win fourth quarter 26-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. International swingman Alice Kunek (187-91) notched 23 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international swingman Tess Madgen (180-90) supported her with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.
