Very expected game when 16th ranked Mola (4-19) lost at home to eleventh ranked Porto S.Elpidio (9-14) 72-57 on Sunday. Strangely Mola outrebounded Porto S.Elpidio 49-29 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Lorenzo Andreani (190-87) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Nicola Bastone (195-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds and forward Emanuele Musci (200-92) added 19 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Mola. Porto S.Elpidio moved-up to tenth place in B, which they share with Padova. Loser Mola keeps the sixteenth position with 19 games lost. Porto S.Elpidio will face higher ranked Bisceglie (#9) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mola will play against Martina Franca (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
