They outrebounded Venafro 43-21 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Swingman Riccardo Rovere (196-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Michele Peroni (188-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Five Viterbo SA players scored in double figures. Viterbo SA's coach Umberto Fanciullo used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
