Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Roseto (15-8) edged on the road 12th ranked Chieti (9-14) 83-81 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 23-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Bryon Allen (190-92, college: George Mason) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points. His fellow American import guard Kyle Weaver (198-86, college: Washington St.) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Bulgarian Ivan Lilov (194-88, agency: Two Points) answered with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Isaiah Armwood (206-90, college: G.Washington) added 23 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Chieti. Roseto maintains fifth place in A2 with 15-8 record. Loser Chieti keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Roseto will face Treviglio (#9) at home in the next round. Chieti will play against Ravenna and hope to win that game.
