The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth ranked Trieste's (12-11) road victory over 11th ranked Bondi Ferrara (11-13) 83-74 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 49-36 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Trieste made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. American forward Jordan Parks (201-94, college: N.C.Central, agency: Two Points) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Roberto Nelson (190-91, college: Oregon St.) contributed with 22 points and 5 assists for the winners. Trieste's coach Eugenio Dalmasson used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swedish-American Erik Rush (197-88, college: Montana St.) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized American swingman Ryan Bucci (192-81, college: LIU Post) added 21 points and 4 assists in the effort for Bondi Ferrara. Trieste moved-up to eighth place in A2. Loser Bondi Ferrara keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Trieste will face league's leader Treviso Basket at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bondi Ferrara will play against Recanati (#15) and hope to win that game.
