We should mention about the upset which took place in Mulhouse, where higher ranked Quimper UJAP (11-12) was outleveled in a road game by fourteenth ranked Mulhouse Basket (10-13) 96-64 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Quimper UJAP. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-64. Mulhouse Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Quimper UJAP's 22. Mulhouse Basket forced 23 Quimper UJAP turnovers and had a 25-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mulhouse Basket made 8 blocks.
