Regular Season Round 25: Krosno - Spojnia 88-58

1Liga top team - Krosno (24-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Spojnia (9-16) 88-58. Krosno looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Spojnia helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Dariusz Oczkowicz (182-81) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Krosno players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Lukasz Pacocha (185-82) responded with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Hubert Pabian (200-89, agency: Promotex) scored 8 points and 13 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Krosno have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 24-1 record. Spojnia lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Krosno are looking forward to face league's second-placed Sokol Lancut on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Spojnia will play against Znicz Basket (#6) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
