Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Iwate Big Bulls (19-15) outplayed at home 8th ranked Yokohama BC (16-20) 88-67 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-67. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Iwate Big Bulls made 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 21 rebounds and 5 blocks.
