Very expected game when 7th ranked Scafati Cesarano (13-10) was smashed by third ranked Palestrina (17-6) in Roma 78-53 on Sunday. Palestrina forced 22 Scafati Cesarano turnovers. Point guard Gianmarco Rossi (182-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. Point guard Simone Rischia (185-90) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized Croatian forward Marko Mlinar (200-83) answered with 9 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Vincenzo Di Capua (186-87) added 17 points in the effort for Scafati Cesarano. Palestrina maintains third place in B with 17-6 record having just three points less than leader Forli. Newly promoted Scafati Cesarano keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Palestrina will face Isernia (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Scafati Cesarano will play against Maddaloni (#13) and hope to win that game.
