No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Cecina (16-7) crushed at home 15th ranked Torino (2-21) 83-49 on Sunday. Cecina forced 22 Torino turnovers. Power forward Giacomo Dell'Agnello (201-94) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Francesco Fratto (200-91) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Cecina players scored in double figures. Center Alessandro Panzieri (201-95, college: High School) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and guard Manuel Di Matteo (190-96) added 8 points in the effort for Torino. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cecina maintains fourth place in B with 16-7 record. Loser Torino keeps the fifteenth position with 21 games lost. Cecina will face league's second-placed Piacenza on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Torino will play against Rimini (#8) and hope to win that game.
