Everything went according to plan when third ranked LF Basket (20-9) outplayed 5th ranked Sundsvall Dragons (15-13) in Lulea 113-91 on Monday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 22 points. LF Basket forced 24 Sundsvall Dragons turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Sundsvall Dragons' players. Croatian guard Toni Prostran (182-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 9 assists. Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) contributed with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Coach Peter Oqvist's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. American guard Ray Willis (198-89, college: N.C.Central) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Icelandic power forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Sundsvall Dragons. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for LF Basket. They moved-up to second place. Sundsvall Dragons lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. LF Basket will have a break next round. Sundsvall Dragons will play at home against Uppsala Basket (#8) and hope to win that game.
