Second Stage Round 7: Boras II - Wetterbygden 101-70

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Wetterbygden's (8-7) road loss to fourth ranked Boras II (10-7) 70-101 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Boras II. Wetterbygden was better in second period 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Boras II shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Quite impressive performance for forward John Brandmark (200-97) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Emil Lundstedt (175-94) contributed with 20 points (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Five Boras II players scored in double figures. Guard Eddie Alm (187-95) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds and guard Albin Eriksson (189-96) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wetterbygden. Boras II have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place in BEHS forts. Newly promoted Wetterbygden keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Boras II will face Huddinge (#6) at home in the next round. Wetterbygden will play against the league's leader Koping and hope to win that game.
