Eskilstuna dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Talje Knights' 24. They outrebounded Talje Knights 44-25 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Hannes Widell (183-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Simon Lennartsson (197-93) helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side point guard Henrik Sjolin (183-97) responded with 15 points and 7 assists and Adam Ramstedt (208-95) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. Eskilstuna maintains fifth place in Superettan with 4-5 record. Talje Knights at the other side keep the eighth position with eight games lost. Eskilstuna will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Talje Knights will play at home against the league's second-placed LF Future (#2) to get more than just one victory in their record.
