The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Rotterdam's (7-12) road loss to fourth ranked Den Bosch (11-8) 68-78 on Thursday. Den Bosch made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for international guard Arvin Slagter (191-85, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 4 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Serbian-Canadian forward Dejan Kravic (211-90, college: Texas Tech) helped adding 10 points and 12 rebounds. Den Bosch's coach Samuel Jones used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Surinamese Sergio de Randamie (201-84, college: Houston) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and American guard La'Shard Anderson (185-89, college: Boise St., agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 11-8 record. Rotterdam at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Amsterdam. Den Bosch will meet at home Amsterdam (#5) in the next round. Rotterdam will play against the league's second-placed Zwolle and hope to secure a win.
