Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Real Madrid II (10-7) defeated on the road 9th ranked Alcobendas (6-11) 73-56 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Real Madrid II. Alcobendas was better in third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of FYR Macedonian forward Dino Radoncic (202-99) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds and forward David Marina (202-88) who added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Center Jose Maria Gil (207-91) responded with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Nicolas Bermudez (193-95) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Real Madrid II have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Real Canoe and Azuqueca. Alcobendas lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. Real Madrid II will face Azuqueca (#5) at home in the next round. Alcobendas will play against Villarrobledo (#12) and hope to win that game.
