Alvik Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Alvik Basket forced 29 Visby Ladies turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Alvik Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Visby Ladies' players. It was a quality performance for American guard Syessence Davis (170-93, college: Rutgers, agency: Merit Management Group) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 9 assists and 7 steals. American center Patricia Oaks (193-89, college: Colgate) came up with 11 points and 9 rebounds and Lithuanian point guard Inesa Visgaudaite (169-91) added 17 points respectively for Visby Ladies in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Alvik Basket. They moved-up to fifth place. Visby Ladies at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 15 games lost. Alvik Basket's next round opponent will be Mark Basket (#6) in Kinna. Visby Ladies will play at home against the league's second-placed Udominate and hope to win that game.
