An interesting game for Al-Qazeres (19-1) which hosted in Caceres second-ranked GDKO Bizkaia (16-4). First ranked Al-Qazeres had an easy win 84-64. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of GDKO Bizkaia. The game was mostly controlled by Al-Qazeres. GDKO Bizkaia was better in second period 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. GDKO Bizkaia was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Julie Forster (185-91, college: Albany) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and forward Veronica Sanchez (179-85, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who added 22 points during the contest. American Margaret Roundtree (183-88, college: Gardner-Webb) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds and naturalized Paraguayan guard Claudia Aponte (175-91, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 18 points. Al-Qazeres have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 19-1 record. GDKO Bizkaia at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost.
