Rather predictable result in Rodou where seventh ranked Kolossos (9-12) defeated 10th ranked Aiolos Trikallon (7-14) 79-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Kolossos. Aiolos Trikallon managed to win fourth quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American point guard Trevor Releford (183-91, college: Alabama, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 14 points and 7 assists. Finnish guard Roope Ahonen (186-90, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Kolossos' coach Aris Likogiannis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was British Ovie Soko (201-91, college: Duquesne) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and American Brandon Brown (201-85, college: CS San Bernar.) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Kolossos moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Aiolos Trikallon at the other side keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Lavrio. Kolossos will meet Koroivos (#12) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
