Fourth ranked Guantanamo (12-11) crushed at home 6th ranked Los Toros (9-15) by 17 points 80-63, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Yoannis Soria (195-86) who scored 36 points (!!!). Swingman Elvis Pons (194-83) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Guantanamo players scored in double figures. The former international center Humberto Garcia (203-85) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Legismel Borlot (195-87) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Guantanamo maintains fourth position with 12-11 record. Loser Los Toros dropped to the seventh place with 15 games lost.
