Very expected game in Paris where 12th ranked CFBB (1-16) was defeated by eighth ranked Limoges (8-9) 64-55. CFBB was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 23-12 charge of Limoges, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 CFBB turnovers. Strangely CFBB outrebounded Limoges 36-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Canadian guard Nakeshia Hyde (178-90, college: Texas Tech) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Tiphaine Melois (170-94) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi (187-98) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and center Alexia Chartereau (189-98) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for CFBB in the defeat. CFBB's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Limoges moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Avenir. CFBB lost their eleventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Limoges' next round opponent will be higher ranked Reims (#5) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CFBB will play against Charnay (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
