An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Grodno. Third ranked Olimpia GrGAU faced 4th ranked RGUOR. Host Olimpia GrGAU (17-5) smashed guests from Minsk (9-13) 101-58. The game without a history. Olimpia GrGAU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RGUOR to just 7 points in first quarter. Olimpia GrGAU dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to RGUOR's 36. They outrebounded RGUOR 50-33 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Olimpia GrGAU players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by RGUOR's players. The former international Maryia Filonchyk (189-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Forward Olga Kopylova (187-82) contributed with 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Yuliya Scharbakova replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and center Alesia Lalovich (188-79) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for RGUOR. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olimpia GrGAU moved-up to second place, which they share with Gorizont. RGUOR lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 13 games lost.
