Date: February 27, 2016
Very expected game when 13th ranked Mulhouse Basket (10-14) was smashed on the road by second ranked Lourdes-Tarbes (17-7) 90-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Lourdes-Tarbes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Mulhouse Basket's players. It was a good game for Jamaican forward Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Florian Lesca (198-89) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Alliman is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Lourdes-Tarbes players scored in double figures. American forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: Inception Sports) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Jonathan Godin (185-82) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Mulhouse Basket. Lourdes-Tarbes have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-7 record having just three points less than leader Blois. Loser Mulhouse Basket dropped to the fourteenth place with 14 games lost. Lourdes-Tarbes will face UB Chartres (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
