Regular Season Round 26: Spojnia - Znicz Basket 81-76

There was an upset in Stargard where higher ranked Znicz Basket (14-11) was defeated by twelfth ranked Spojnia (10-16) 81-76 on Sunday. Spojnia made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Strangely Znicz Basket outrebounded Spojnia 38-21 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Lukasz Pacocha (185-82) who scored 29 points and 6 assists (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!). Maciej Raczynski (190-84, agency: Promotex) chipped in 13 points. Spojnia's coach Wiktor Grudzinski used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Patryk Przyborowski (195-90, agency: Promotex) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and center Dawid Slupinski (206-92) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Spojnia moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Notec Inowr. and SKK Siedlce. Znicz Basket lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. Spojnia will have a break next round.
