Regular Season Round 21: Stal Ostrow - MKS DG 87-68

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when twelfth ranked Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (10-11) smashed at home 11th ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (10-13) 87-68 on Sunday. The game without a history. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian center Alexis Wangmene (205-89, college: Texas) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. American DeShawn Delaney (196-92, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Stal Ostrow Wlkp. players scored in double figures. Stal Ostrow Wlkp.'s coach Zoran Sretenovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Croatian power forward Drago Pasalic (208-84, agency: PEPI SPORT) who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and American-Samoan point guard Rashaun Broadus (180-84, college: BYU, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points respectively. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. moved-up to tenth place. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. will meet higher ranked Asseco (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play against PGE Turow (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
