Second Stage Round 8: Talje - LF Future 55-78

Very expected game when 8th ranked Talje Knights (1-9) were crushed at home by second ranked LF Future (8-3) 78-55 on Sunday. The game without a history. LF Future led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. LF Future outrebounded Talje Knights 46-19 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 assists and guard Joel Svensson (185-94) who added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Ramon Mirianidis responded with 8 points and Adam Karahmetovic scored 8 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. LF Future maintains second position in Superettan with 8-3 record behind leader Solna Branten. Loser Talje Knights keep the eighth place with nine games lost. LF Future will face league's leader Solna Branten at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Talje Knights will play against KFUM Uppsala (#3) and hope to win that game.
