Date: February 28, 2016
There was a change at the TNA leadership position after last games. Round 43 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Hindu (23-9). They were crushed by second ranked Union SF (18-14) 93-72 on Sunday night. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game without a history. Union SF led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Union SF forced 20 Hindu turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. It was a great evening for American power forward Jonathan Durley (203-88, college: Wichita St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds. Naturalized Italian Juan Kelly (190-88) helped adding 18 points and 4 assists. At the losing side point guard Nicolas Paletta (180-87) responded with 21 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American Kenny Jones (198-84, college: Kentucky St., agency: DTMones) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Union SF maintains second place with 18-14 record having just two point less than leader Platense which they share with defeated Hindu. Newly promoted Hindu dropped to the second position with nine games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Platense. Hindu will play next round against strong La Union trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Union SF will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
