A1 top team - Olympiacos (20-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fourteenth ranked Kavala (4-17) in Athens 115-61. The game without a history. Olympiacos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kavala's 24. They outrebounded Kavala 44-18 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Olympiacos players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kavala's players. Kavala was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. International forward Kostas Papanikolaou (206-90) nailed 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international Georgios Printezis (204-85, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
