There was no surprise when 13th ranked Elitzur Yavne (6-14) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (11-9) 84-77. Ironi Ramat Gan players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by point guard Oded Shaashoua (186-82, agency: Avi Zilberman) who scored that evening 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Amit Tamir (208-79, college: California) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Even 29 points and 9 rebounds by American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St.) did not help to save the game for Elitzur Yavne.
