The game in was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Al Moutahed (7-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Louaize (3-9). Al Moutahed managed to secure a 8-point victory 94-86 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 58-49 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Michael Taylor (186-86, college: Iowa St.) fired 30 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. The former international forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: N.Carolina) chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds. Four Al Moutahed players scored in double figures. American guard Geron Johnson (190-92, college: Memphis) produced 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Alex Okafor (202-87, college: Princeton) added 25 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Al Moutahed have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Louaize keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Al Moutahed will meet at home league's second-placed Homenetmen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Louaize will play against Sagesse (#7) in Beirut and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
