Undefeated leader Good Angels delivered the twenty fourth consecutive victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Slovan (8-16) 96-48 in Bratislava. The game without a history. Good Angels led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Slovan's 16. Good Angels forced 28 Slovan turnovers and outrebounded them 41-23 including a 28-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Good Angels made 9 blocks. Worth to mention a quality performance of American guard Shenise Johnson (181-90, college: Miami, FL) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals and Slovenian point guard Teja Oblak (172-90) who added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Five Good Angels players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Simona Marcova (175-94) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Hana Krizmova (170-85) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Slovan's coach already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Good Angels (24-0) have an impressive 20-game winning streak.
