Regular Season Round 43: Okinawa GK - Takamatsu FA 77-65

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Takamatsu FA (9-28) lost on the road to fourth ranked Okinawa GK (27-10) 77-65 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Takamatsu FA was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. Quite impressive performance for guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 assists. Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Jarvis Williams (198-89, college: Minn.St.-Mankato) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Anthony Kent (208-83, college: Ball St.) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Takamatsu FA. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Okinawa GK. They maintain fourth place with 27-10 record. Takamatsu FA lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 28 games lost. Okinawa GK will face again Takamatsu FA (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
