Seventeenth-ranked Movil Estudiantes (4-18) gave a tough game to tenth ranked Andorra (10-12) on Saturday. Andorra managed to secure only two-point victory 84-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Movil Estudiantes trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 29-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 82-84 at the end of the game. Cape Verdean-Portuguese Joao Gomes (201-85) fired 18 points for the winners. FYR Macedonian guard Vojdan Stojanovski (194-87, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Argentinian point guard Nicolas Laprovittola (193-90) produced 23 points and the former international forward Nacho Martin (203-83) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Movil Estudiantes players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Andorra moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Unicaja. Loser Movil Estudiantes keeps the seventeenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Gipuzkoa. Andorra will meet higher ranked Real Madrid (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Movil Estudiantes will play against Dominion BB (#8) and hope to secure a win.
