Regular Season Round 18: LTB 29 - Aulnoye 77-60

The most important game in the last round took place in Pleyber-Christ between second ranked Aulnoye (14-4) and fourth ranked LTB 29 (12-6) on Saturday night. Aulnoye was defeated by LTB 29 on the road 60-77. The game was mostly controlled by LTB 29. Aulnoye managed to win second period 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aulnoye to just 6 points in third quarter. LTB 29 made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Senegalese power forward Oumou Toure (190-88, agency: Comsport) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Marie Butard (174-86) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized DR Congolese forward Lorraine Lokoka (184-89) replied with 20 points and 9 rebounds and guard Anais Deas (165-87) added 7 points and 7 assists in the effort for Aulnoye. Aulnoye's coach Abdel Bellouni rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. LTB 29 have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 12-6 record. Aulnoye at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Roche. LTB 29 are looking forward to face Avenir (#8) in Chartres in the next round.
