Bottom-ranked GTK Gliwice managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they won against fourteenth-ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw 69-64. It was a great evening for power forward Wojciech Fras (203-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90, agency: Promotex) helped adding 12 points. Four GTK Gliwice players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Przemyslaw Hajnsz (206-82, agency: Promotex) with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Slask 2 Wroclaw's coach Tomasz Jankowski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. GTK Gliwice maintains sixteenth place with 7-19 record. Newly promoted Slask 2 Wroclaw dropped to the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Biofarm PZN. GTK Gliwice will play against higher ranked Biofarm PZN (#13) in Poznan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Slask 2 Wroclaw will play at home against Znicz Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
