Regular Season Round 43: Kanazawa Samuraiz - Bambitious Nara 70-67

Eighth-ranked Bambitious Nara (15-24) was very close to win a game against seventh ranked Kanazawa Samuraiz (21-18) in Ishikawa. Kanazawa Samuraiz managed to secure only three-point victory 70-67. However their fans expected easier game. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-19. But Bambitious Nara won second period 16-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kanazawa Samuraiz players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American forward Marshall Brown (200-85, college: Missouri) fired 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Yuji Yuji (181-88) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) produced 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Trinidad and Tobago power forward Julius Ashby (208-82, college: Colorado) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Kanazawa Samuraiz maintains seventh place with 21-18 record. Bambitious Nara at the other side keeps the eighth position with 24 games lost. Kanazawa Samuraiz's next round opponent will be again Bambitious Nara (#8) at home.
