Another interesting game for Peli-Karhut (6-15) which hosted in Kotka against higher ranked Forssan Alku (11-11). Eighth ranked Peli-Karhut had an easy win 86-69. The game was mostly controlled by Peli-Karhut. Forssan Alku was better in second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Swingman Roosa Lehtoranta (176-97) had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Tear'A Laudermill (175-92, college: Nebraska) chipped in 18 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Peli-Karhut players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Candice Warthen (165-92, college: Arizona) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and her fellow American import guard Precious Bridges (165-92, college: Mercer) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Peli-Karhut moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Espoo Team. Forssan Alku at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. Peli-Karhut will play against league's second-placed ViVe in Vimpeli in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Forssan Alku will play at home against HyPo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
