Top ranked Amicale (21-2) recorded its second loss in Ettelbruck on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked Etzella (12-11) 91-68. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-68. Etzella outrebounded Amicale 46-32 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Canadian power forward Billy McNutt (203-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds for the winners and American forward Alex Francis (198-91, college: Bryant, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) chipped in 22 points and 13 rebounds. The former international power forward Billy McDaniel (199-84, college: Ark.-Monticello, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Jordan Hasquet (206-85, college: Montana, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 21 points. Amicale's coach Ken Diederich gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Etzella maintains fourth place in League with 12-11 record. Loser Amicale still keeps top position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
