Regular Season Round 20: Oostende - Houthalen 75-71

Date: March 6, 2016
Bottom-ranked KB D-Glas managed to get a second victory, breaking the fourteen-game losing streak. This time newly promoted KB D-Glas won against ninth-ranked Houthalen in Oostende 75-71. KB D-Glas forced 22 Houthalen turnovers. The winners were led by Sasja Fransen (177-90) who scored that evening 26 points and 5 rebounds and forward Marlon Delrue (180-96) supported her with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds by the former international center Jaleesa Maes (188-92) did not help to save the game for Houthalen. The former international forward Annelies Blommaers (176-83) added 23 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Newly promoted KB D-Glas maintains eleventh position with 2-13 record. Houthalen lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 13 games lost. KB D-Glas will play against higher ranked Kangoeroes (#6) in Boom in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Houthalen will play at home against the league's leader Castors Braine and will have a slim chance for a victory.
