Regular Season Round 21: Ardoi - Easo 71-68

Important game to mention about took place in Zizur Mayor. Fifth ranked Ardoi (13-4) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 4th placed Easo (12-5) 71-68 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Easo. It was a key game for the second position in Group A-A. Easo was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Ardoi made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Ardoi outrebounded Easo 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Easo was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and forward Alberto Davila (195-81) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds. Center Manex Eizmendi (200-92) came up with 14 points and point guard Inigo Del Valle (188-87) added 16 points respectively for Easo in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ardoi moved-up to second place in Group A-A, which they share with Pielagos and Estela. Easo at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Ardoi will play against Zarautz (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Easo will play against Clavijo (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
