The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Sparta's (7-16) road loss to fifth ranked Basket Esch (11-12) 77-118 on Sunday. The game without a history. Basket Esch led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Sparta's coach Philippe Giberti already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Basket Esch maintains fifth place in League with 11-12 record. Loser Sparta keeps the sixth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
