Regular Season Round 27: TuNMKY - HyPo 92-66

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 14th ranked HyPo's (5-22) road loss to thirteenth ranked TuNMKY (7-19) in Turun 66-92 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by TuNMKY. HyPo was better in third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for guard Eero Innamaa (186-98) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Jonas Mattila (193-83) contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Mikko Jamsa (177-93) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Toni Honka (194-84) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for HyPo. Five TuNMKY and four HyPo players scored in double figures. TuNMKY moved-up to twelfth place in Division. HyPo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourteenth position with 22 games lost. TuNMKY will have a break next round. HyPo will play against Vaasan Salama (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
